Room Tour, 2015 edition!

Inky's Room Tour 2015

Hello hello! A follower of my Instagram recently requested an updated room tour, so I decided to take some newer photos of my room.  This is me, standing in my bedroom.  I have a pretty big bedroom for a kid living in New York City, so I do know I'm lucky.  Anyway, get ready to see my bedroom!

Inky's Room Tour 2015

This is my desk, where I do my computering and studying.  I am homeschooled, which means I don't go to a traditional school.   You can see some of my collections- my American Girl books on the shelves above my desk, my notebooks for schoolwork on my desk, and lots of silly little trinkets everywhere! I love Uglydolls, so they are all over my room.

Right here you can see my art area and nightstand! I have my own easel.  Can you tell who I painted? It's Ice Bat, the Uglydoll! There are some dust bunnies on my floor. Oops! On my nightstand I keep my textbooks and some more books.  Two of my favorite books ever are on top of the nightstand- Swallows and Amazons and The Giver.  I also have my special Totoro clock.

Here is my bed. I have two beds, but I usually sleep on this one.  Both of my beds have special space-themed quilts that my mama's friend made just for me.  The Uglydoll pillow is from my friend Piper!

This is my special shelf above my bed.  I have my tape recorder, my special ikon from Ukraine, two red panda toys, and an mp3 player.

The other shelf above my bed also has lots of special stuff.  I have my name banner, lots of little figurines, a ViewMaster from Piper, some snowglobes from zoos I've visited, and a special cartoon that David Horvath, one of the creators of Uglydolls, drew just for me! Oh yeah- I have some ballet posters too.

Here are some more pieces of my snowglobe and Uglydoll collections.

This is my cat tree. It belongs to my cat, Chaika!  The green pillows match one of the pillows on my bed, which is nice, I think.

My other bed is for visitors to sleep on when they come to stay overnight.  Technically both of the beds have trundles, but I took out the mattresses so that I could store my toys in them.  Chaika really likes to suck on the ears of my stuffed animals and bite off their feet and tails, so I decided to keep them stored away.

And that's all! Thanks for visiting me and my bedroom! Do you have your own room? How did you decorate it?

In this post I'm wearing: Shirt by Janie Jumps (now Sparrow & Wren Mercantile); pants by Liberty Jane Clothing; boots and hair accessories by American Girl.
