Hello everyone! I'm sorry for my long absence. Last week, there was a hurricane here in NYC. My family is safe, but many families in our city and metro area lost loved ones and their homes. If you'd like to donate to relief efforts, check out the Red Cross's Hurricane Relief page.
Today is a special day- it's Election Day! During the last presidential election, I was visiting my friend Violet in Utah. We stayed up until they declared the winner. I'll be staying up late tonight with my parents, watching the results come in.

ReplyDeleteHappy Election Day! Even though I'm not American, I still feel that the election is important...and watching the results is always exciting. The person definitely got out and voted today. It's sad that I'm not with the Americans, though I will admit that Ava gets a little carried away with these things.
France had their elections in the spring- yay, François Hollande! I did follow that election quite well.

DeleteI'm glad the election went the way my family hoped. How old do you have to be to vote in France? I have been in Ukraine during the elections and really enjoyed learning about all the different (aka more than two...) parties and their beliefs.

DeleteI stayed up, too! Inky its been foever since we talked. Whats new sister? Hurricane Sandy was the last thing we needed. And I got really mad how my flight to Utah got canceled! Oh and Inky, wanna see a picture of my Yodka? It's blue! How cool? I am puuting up after Thanksgiving. I do celebrate in every few years and this year I am! I am going to Georgia. Last time I went was 2007. Talk to you later!
