Meet My Friends: Marisol
Friday, April 3, 2015
Hello and Happy Friday! I'm here to introduce the next in my series of posts about my friends. This post will focus on Marisol, one of my oldest friends. I've known her as long as I've lived in New York. Marisol lives on the Lower East Side, which is a very fun neighborhood. She's a student at a prestigious ballet school in Midtown, near the Hudson River. You can see she's wearing her ballet school uniform in this photo!
Marisol is serious about dance and goes to lessons almost every day after school. Marisol attends a charter school for girls on the Lower East Side. She is also pretty serious about school! She loves to get empanadas from a little stall on Avenue C. We don't see each other very often as Marisol is quite busy, but when we do, we have a fabulous time together.
Marisol's best friend, Meritaten, goes to ballet school with her. I'll do a post on her later, as she is my friend as well. Marisol is a native New Yorker, which means she was born here! She is very proud of this and knows her way all around the city.
So that's Marisol! She is such a sweet friend and I'm really lucky to have her in my life. Do any of your friends have hobbies in common with you? How about hobbies that are different than yours?

Marisol looks very serious about ballet. She should meet my "cousin," Alice, the blond Alice. Alice goes to a special school for ballet too. She took me once because I showed her my time travel adventures and she wanted to show me her favorite thing to do. I wasn't very good at it. Alice took me ice skating too. I fell down but I figured it out eventually. You have such an interesting bunch of friends.
